Desktop Capture Solution from OKI Printing Solutions has been named Outstanding Desktop Document Management Solution by the editors at BLI.

OKI Data Americas has collaborated with the Anoto Group for the past five years qualifying devices to meet the rigorous Anoto standards. The Anoto penDocuments Pro is fully compatible with both the C610 and CX2033 MFP Plus products and works with any Microsoft Office application or PDF. Users simply print the document or form needed for their business, and the bundled solution automatically applies a unique pattern of microdots, called the Anoto dot pattern, to the document as it is produced. Users can then utilize the Anoto digital pen to populate the document as they would with a normal ink pen. The dot pattern enables the digital pen to register and store a user’s handwriting in its memory. When the pen is docked in its USB cradle, the recorded handwriting is downloaded and matched with the image of the original document – instantly creating an exact copy of the handwritten document in PDF format. Solution Increases Capture Productivity by 1000 Percent

Each of the nation’s 435 congressional offices receives thousands of individual constituent communications each month. Each office is obligated to catalog and acknowledge receipt of all correspondence.

The AutoStore solution replaced a process that required manual scanning to email, re-saving and renaming each document and manual importation into the Lockheed IQ ECM system. “With AutoStore I can process 10 letters in the time it used to take for one letter,” says the office manager for an Illinois congressman.

Now, the congressman’s staff member logs in to the MFP using the touch screen and scans directly to the IQ system. Users may even search the IQ system for a specific constituent or mail record from the MFP’s control panel and append the correspondence to that individual’s archive.
